Dr. Kencliffe Palmer, M.D. is a Board-Certified Internal Medicine Physician with post-basic Primary Care Psychiatry training who provides medical oversight for clinical services at Ornaldo Swift Healthcare; ensuring quality of care.
Dr. Kencliffe Palmer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences, from Northern Caribbean University and a Master’s degree in Physiology from The University of the West Indies in Jamaica. He earned his Doctorate of Medicine (MD) with high honors, from Ross University School of Medicine and completed his Internal Medicine training at Morehouse School of Medicine. Dr. Palmer’s interest in the interface of Mental Health and Physical illness, led him to pursue training in Primary Care Psychiatry (University of California, Irvine) and he insists that psychosocial factors that impact wellbeing are evaluated and addressed.
Lavern Palmer, N.P. is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner with over 25 years of experience as a Healthcare Administrator, Registered Nurse and Healthcare Provider.
Lavern Palmer is a graduate of Kingston School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse and also holds a Bachelor’s in Nursing from Chamberlain University. Additionally, Ms. Palmer holds a Masters in Public Health form The University of the West Indies and a Master in Nursing from Walden University.
Ms. Palmer specializes in Adult Medicine and Gerontology and provide comprehensive general medical care to young adults and the elderly. Following her certification as a Nurse Practitioner, and seeing the needs of her patient, Ms. Palmer pursued specialized training in Psychiatry, Wound, Ostomy and Continence to better attend for her patients’ behavioral health and wound care needs. Ms. Palmer likes gardening and land scaping and spend her time in those endeavors during her off-time.
